About our framing title

Print Frame Samples

* The amount of quality control and time used in creating our frames is well spent, as hastily made inferior frames often do not pass the test of time and do not always ensure the safety of your valued artworks.

* All foamcore and mat boards used are acid-free and are made of the highest rag-content quality, meeting museum conservation standards.

* The mitred corners of our frames are epoxy bonded and double pin reinforced to ensure their long term stability in handling and hanging.

* Our frames outside corner edges are colour finished with the front side decorative motif elements being esthetically matched and balanced.

* We utilize Premium Tru-Vue glass that is silicone set for superior bonding, plus it adds to the frame's shock-resistance and creates a water-proof splash resistant barrier.

* The back side of each frame is epoxy mounted felt bumpered, paper-backed and shrink-fit sealed along with supporting hidden breathable apertures.

* Our print frames are considered the best of their genre, as we never attempt to cut corners when it comes to time, materials or research.

Frames of inherently sound value

PLEASE NOTE: We no longer operate a bricks-and-mortar, walk-in gallery as such, but we have moved our cleaning & restoration services to the Art Restoration page... Click Here. Keep us in mind, as we do have a competent eye for precision and fine details and always welcome new online clients who are may require an updating, cleaning or a reframing of their vintage hand-pulled prints.

CONSIDER THIS: Many older historical and vintage prints from the past century and earlier were often framed with acidic, wood pulp mats and backing support. This is often a recipe for disaster concerning the life and value of your treasured etchings, aquatints, lithos and blockcut prints. Over time, these wood-based, destructive materials will damage your prints, sometimes, beyond a cleaning or restoration.

So, the cleaning and protective treatment you give an historical print today, will greatly extend its lifetime and continue to protect its continually increasing value, well into the future.
